Let me paint a scene for you. My friend calls me out of the blue wanting to meet up. We landed on here . Never been. After I order she starts trauma dumping on me. The kind of trauma where u need to keep your mouth full cause lack any type of helpful response . As she cried and cried I was grateful for my gigantic salad to give me something to do otherwise I would have busted through their wall like hey look aid . They have a cute patio area outside the very kind and sympathetic server can seat you, giving a lot of privacy for someone to ball their eyes out . The place is one of those cute hole in the walls serving up yummy Greek food .
Lackluster chicken kabob plate. The chicken was not supple, nor flavorful. The rice pilaf tasted as if it was out of a box, the salad was just romaine with a few cucumbers and tomatoes that weren't fresh. The hummus was just okay. The salad was in the box with the other items and the lettuce and dressing were hot by the time I picked it up. Reminding myself with this review to not go back. I'm actually surprised they have such good reviews. I really wanted to like it because it seemed like it was family run, which is why I picked it. The woman over the phone was sweet and was going to give me an extra hummus instead of tiziki and another one for free (which I didn't ask for), but when I arrived there was some confusion and they were going to charge me for two kabob plates (even though t
First time here although I've driven by countless times. I was surprised to see the place is much smaller than it appears to be from the street. Decided to get something other than the usual gyros or felafel. Ordered the Moussaka, which I expected to be a Greek lasagna. It was not. Instead of being something you can bite into and chew, this was soft and creamy and very tasty. It came with green beans which were done in a tomato sauce, and were not squeaky on my teeth, which is great. I also had the lentil soup which was quite good. Tried a Greek beer called Mythos, which I liked. Service was fast and friendly. Will definitely stop in again and try something else from the menu.
Delicious easy-to-reach spot off of Rosecrans blvd. Tasty falafel in pita with small Greek salad. Delicious baklava. Great service from our Russian-born server. She was a delight. Regret not being able to meet Georgia herself. She has family from our home base of Albuquerque. NM. The restaurant is spotless. Nicely decorated. Lovely patio with a frog fountain! Highly recommended.
Well, themed restaurant serving traditional Greek dishes. Atmosphere and staff are fantastic. Dishes are above average Greek fair. The moussaka was well executed. They offer a handful of Greek beers on their menu and Greek wines, including a Retsina
