Fantastic experience at Georges place. We originally booked for 7 and the restaurant kindly called us in advance to see if we wanted to come earlier to see the sunset. So glad we did! Service was excellent and food was great too. Only notice to other diners is that it’s both BYOB and Cash only. Would highly recommend.
We had a wonderful lunch at George’s Place in Wildwood Crest yesterday and will definitely be back! It was a bit cold outside, but they provided blankets which was such a nice touch. We look forward to an even better experience when the weather is warmer.
I walked down to George's Place from the beach front hotel I was staying in at Wildwood Crest. It was only about a 13 minute walk. The food was so good. The Caesar salad was so fresh and flavorful. I had crab cakes with lemon spinach, chick peas and aioli. So much flavor. I really enjoyed it. The restaurant also has a lovely bay view.
I recently had the pleasure of having breakfast at George’s Place in Wildwood Crest, New Jersey, a hidden gem that exceeded my expectations. The relaxed atmosphere, complemented by beautiful views. The breakfast menu offers a wide array of choices, ranging from traditional favorites to innovative fusion dishes. I had the tiramisu waffles, which were exceptionally well made. For those planning to visit, I highly recommend making a reservation, as this spot tends to get busy. Keep in mind that George’s Place is cash-only, but there’s no need to worry if you forget—an ATM is conveniently located just downstairs. Overall, this is spot worth seeking out.
Relaxing atmosphere, nice view, great food at a reasonable price. Things to know before you go: - They only take cash, so come prepared - they don’t sell any alcoholic beverages, you can bring your own and they have glasses, - make a reservation and ask for outside if you want it. There is indoor and outdoor seating, if you don’t make a reservation or request outside you likely will not get it. Sitting on the back deck overlooking the water provided a great dinner atmosphere. The wait staff was very pleasant and the food was well prepared. I usually eat things with little salt, many restaurants have overpowering salt taste because of that, I got the braised beef short ribs and my wife got the red snapper. Both were well prepared and lightly seasoned. This was perfect for me and allowed my
