Gen Korean BBQ House

Heard about this new place and I took my son out for his birthday. Well my idea of going to a restaurant is to get pampered and not have to cook. I wasn't aware that I had to cook my own food. The waiter was taken care of five different tables so you can just imagine how long it was taking for refills and to get fresh meat to the table. The smoke was embedded in our clothing. With a drink you're going to pay about $60 per person. Sorry but I'll never come back. Casa de Brazil or Fogo de Chao are much better for that price that price.

Food and services were awesome! From the variety of cuts and flavors. Lots of choices for everyone’s palate. Does get a little hot in there because you’re grilling at your table so dress light. Family had a great time and its added to our Waco favorite places to go.

We went there with 8 people at about 5:30 on a Saturday and we were seated immediately. The explained the all you can eat, the difference between premium and regular and how order and cook our food. If it is your first time a a Korean Barbecue, they prepare and season all the food and you cook it so it is hot and ready and you can have it raw to well done. Everything brought to our table looked great and tasted better. Definitely recommend if your in the Waco area making a date night or family gathering you will not be disappointed you will get an experience with you meal!

My boyfriend and I went on a Friday afternoon so it was the perfect time not too busy. Had an amazing experience with our server Logan, he was engaged in conversation and was a delightful young man. I highly recommend this restaurant for dates and hang outs with the great food and service as well as price. And ask for Logan he is the best server I’ve ever had.

Super friendly service, the food was decent for the price, the premium options for the menu could be better with oil, the kimchi fried rice was good, and so was the Cajun shrimp. Could use a better system of paying. The server was not able to take our payment. It had to be done with someone else which was very strange. Overall, I would come back for lunch or dinner, but wouldn't bother with the premium option.
