Absolutely amazing! What a surprise! We live in Sequim and have passed through many times without stopping, and boy do I regret it. We will be making the trip from Sequim now just to eat! They have a smoker out back and offer smoked brisket, pulled pork, and smoked meatloaf sandwiches, as well as cold deli sandwiches shaved in-house. Don't sleep on Gear Head Deli, but also don't tell everyone; I don't want to have to wait in a long line. 🤣
Went here for lunch after hiking up Mt. Townsend. Had read about it online and it sounded tasty. They were pretty busy when I first arrived and ordered. I was in the mood for a bacon cheeseburger but think I should have gone with the BBQ pork. I ordered it medium rare and got a burger with no pink at all. And it was dry. The bun started coming apart after 2 bites and the bacon was hard to bite through. Potato salad on the side was tasty. Drinks were cans of soda. Around $25 for lunch plus a tip. I was hoping for a better experience but I think the rush they were having when I arrived threw the food prep off a bit. If I go back I'm trying the BBQ pork.
The first time I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant was shortly after the birth of my first daughter. I brought her in as a newborn and enjoyed a pulled pork sandwich. Ten years later, while pregnant with my second daughter, I decided to revisit the restaurant with my partner, driven by nostalgia and a desire to try something new GUYS. I was truly impressed. A burger elsewhere is just a burger, but this one was absolutely exceptional from the first bite to the last. They prepared it exactly how I like it (no pink), and I appreciated that there was no judgment. The young man working there and the owner were very personable and genuine from the moment we arrived. The young man jokingly mentioned that a burger cooked without pink is “well done,” not medium, which made me smile. It
Amazing Food ! our family of 6 just had burgers and I ate the prime rib special , it was a very reasonable bill and the food was out of this world. I have had a lot of prime rib in my 39 years on this earth and Chris the owner has outdone himself once again with the superior dry rub and smoking of this prime rib.He dishes out a healthy portion and his brisket baked beans and potato salad on the side makes this one of the better meals I Have had . definitely worth the 30 minute drive for dinner.
No problem getting a table but took a very long time to get our food. For $46 we got an equivalent of one sandwich! Each sandwich was the size of half a sandwich anywhere else for that price including from the previous owners. Though it tasted good, just very small!
