Great place for coeliacs. You can build your own sandwich to have whatever you want in it and be assured the preparation will be safe because they’re very strick with changing gloves and preparing the gluten free on different surfaces. Theres even options to make your sandwich dairy free, though the GF does have milk in it. The tomato soup is GF/vegan too and is delicious. Felt safe eating here both days I was in DC.

Such a Cool Spot! Stopped into GCDC Grilled Cheese Bar while we were exploring D.C., and I’m so glad we did! It’s such a fun, laid-back place with a cool vibe — and the food totally hit the spot. I had the Philly grilled cheese and a root beer, and let me tell you... that sandwich was incredible. Melted just right, packed with flavor, and super filling. It’s definitely not your average grilled cheese — this was next level. Service was quick, the place was clean, and it’s in a great location. If you’re in D.C. and want something casual but still really tasty, this place is absolutely worth checking out!

While walking around and trying to get a break from the extreme cold, we by chance found this amazing spot! First the service was 100/10! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Environment was cozy,chill and clean. And most importantly, the food was delicious and fresh!!! Personally got the jalapeno bacon popper grilled cheese and tomato soup! Will definitely be back!

Tasty, reasonable pricing, and great casual atmosphere. We order at the screen, super easy. I did not see Apple pay, so get your card ready!

I can't say a bad thing about this place. Our family (6 of us this day) came in for a break from DC walking. We ordered 5 grilled cheese sandwiches in all different types, and one of the buffalo chicken Mac and cheese bowls. The food was amazing. Rosco, the young man who took our order and served us was professional, very friendly, sociable, and spot on. He really added to the experience here. We plan on being back in DC for more sightseeing in a few weeks. We'll be back for sure!
