GB Fish & Chips

An excellent experience all around 🤤. The service was attentive and welcoming, and the food absolutely delivered. I took my order togo and drove about 30 minutes home, yet the fish 🐠 and prawns 🍤 were still impressively crispy and fresh when I sat down to eat. That alone says a lot about the kitchen’s quality and preparation. A fantastic spot to keep in mind during Lent definitely be returning.

The food was delicious. I got the haddock and chips (fries), my boyfriend got the bangers and mash. The haddock was so tender and almost fluffy, not heavy at all with grease. The bangers (polish sausage) was flavorful, especially with wonderfully caramelized onions on the side. Derek and JJ were very helpful with explaining the menu and giving recommendations for us newbies. They also generously offered 10% off when we went back to order seconds (the fried squid - which was AMAZING, I didn't know that squid could be so un-rubbery!) because it was our first time there. The atmosphere is rustic and casual. All in all, will be back!

The fish was completely bland no flavour taste less. Even the fries were tasteless. The coleslaw that came was stale. Very disappointed.

Great service and atmosphere, but the food wasn't good enough to come back again. The fish batter was too greasy. The mashed potatoes had little flavor and tasted like boxed mashed potatoes. The clam chowder was okay, but there wasn't a clam in every bite, as advertised on the menu. The food was way overpriced for what we received.

Delicious!!! Fresh and perfectly cooked fish and chips every time ⭐️ the staff is always so nice too and I love the outdoor seating and heated porch. The haddock is my favorite 😋
