Had an absolutely amazing meal at G&B Dockside last night (3333 NE 32nd Ave). Our server was Jeff and he was fantastic, haven’t had service like his in a long time. Do yourself a a favor and ask for him. We went for happy hour, 50% off bottles Monday and Tuesday and 50% off select apps. We decided to eat all the happy hour apps. The fish dip is the best in SFlo. The lemon Pepper wings were cooked perfectly and come with a large portion of peppers and onions on top. The coconut shrimp are best in the area and we had a shrimp plate as well. Delicious but not the stand out. The key lime pie was extremely balanced and not too citrusy (I prefer a little more citrus). You absolutely can not beat the price. Food was incredible and I loved the waterside views of the intracoastal, but I spent the entire meal in an existential crisis trying to figure out the G&B name. Mahi & Shrimp: Flawless. Fresh, flaky, and seasoned to perfection. Grilled Octopus: Amazing and soo delicious Vibe: Scenic dockside views and ice-cold drinks. The "G&B" Theories (Help Me here) Gnats & BlueCrabs: Fits dockside dining but questionable branding choice Glitter & Balloons: This might be a great party spot. Gerbils & Bluegrass: Didn't see any banjos or rodents, but who knows Gravy & Bedtime: My two favorite things, honestly. Verdict: Go for the seafood, stay for the unsolvable mystery of their name
Amazing experience, beautifully set up on the water, amazing food and service was incredible! Our friends from Mass who are foodies were blown away from appetizers to desserts and all the drinks! Get the scoobies!
The menu is great. So many delicious choices. We tried a bunch of apps and each was wonderful. Atmosphere and service was great. Our waiter Lionel made our evening so enjoyable. He was well versed on the menu and took great care of us. We will be back soon. What a great new restaurant.
