This is a terrific old school locals place that's perfect for breakfast and lunch. Our waitress (alas, I forgot her name) was just super! Attentive and friendly, easy to interact with and didn't give us "the bum's rush". I met a dear old friend for breakfast. We both had different, but traditional Southern country breakfasts and couldn't have been happier. The food was delicious and served hot with portions generous at very fair prices. Highly recommend!
Wow, what a secret find! We were looking for a breakfast change from the New Day Cafe & Farmhouse and spotted Gaylyn's diner. Becky greeted us with a warm, kind smile and we grabbed a window booth. We ordered French toast, eggs, bacon, wheat toast & OJ. It was beyond delicious, quality food cooked with love 💕… A mother/daughter own the place and are so very sweet! This is our new breakfast place for a good long while! 5/5 stars ⭐️ .
Great service, reminded of growing up in Nash County and getting food from the gas station before the fast food restaurants came. Nice this burger with chilli and we'll done fries with a glass of sweet tea! Will definitely be back!
Absolutely an amazing slice of old town USA!!!!!!! Blown away by the service, food, and old school atmosphere!!!! I’ll be here for breakfast for the next 4 weeks!!! Thank y’all for making me feel special!!!
We went to Gaylyn's for first time and will definitely be back!! Diane was our waitress and served us an excellent meal and we met Mark who welcomed us. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a regular spot for breakfast or lunch!! 🥰
