Gaspar's Deli

My go to spot in the area from breakfast or lunch items. So this review hurts my soul but, Unfortunately there was a BUG in my soup today and that is completely unacceptable. I will never go back for their prepared meals, or cooked/deli items.

One egg, one slice of cheese on a roll for $5.20 is crazy lmaoo big thumbs down.

For being the only deli for a few blocks, the selection of products is very limited. I understand the neighborhood is marginally well off, but the prices are very steep. The sandwiches are skimpy for the price you pay, and if you enter after 4pm, they microwave your hot sandwiches. Only go if you absolutely have to...

A great little deli on the corner of 44th St and 25th Ave in Astoria. They have homemade hot food Monday through Friday and a variety of sandwiches and subs that are always tasty. The staff is so friendly and welcoming and seems to know w everyone’s name. Highly recommend checking it out!

There's a new employee with light green eyes who's rude and lacks customer service. I went in there to buy a canned soda I didn't realize it was frozen until I opened it. I tried to go back to ask him to change it and right away he got defensive saying it wasnt his fault. I was very polite and said I didn't blame him but I just want to exchange it. He continued to say its not his fault what do I want him to do??? Lol I didn't stay to argue over $1.50. Such a stupid interaction that will sadly have a negative effect on this business. I guess It's no longer anyone's job to check the temperature of the refrigerators. We must know how to differentiate between frozen and cold. If it's frozen this man expects you to ask for a non frozen one that they keep in the back, per the employee. Sounds li
