This has become our favorite restaurant. A strong and positive Asian bistro vibe. The beautiful and lively atmosphere is on the mark. The attentive and friendly service provided by the staff is atomic level. The food is consistently hot-fresh-delicious and does not fall short. Drinks and water were promptly refilled, making our visit feel personalized. It’s the level of care and consistency that keeps you coming back. Gary’s takes Chinese to a dimension well above the norm for SLC. We were impressed by how flavorful our dishes were, the attentiveness & friendliness of the waiter & the ambiance. Gary, the owner prides himself in assuring all aspects of the dining experience are impeccably presented. If ur taste buds are calling for Chinese food, look no further than Gary’s !

We were waiting in anticipation for this place to open for several months, after our favorite local place closed. But then we waited several months to come here. We regretted that, the experience was amazing. This review was just off this one first time experience. Food was delicious, perfectly cooked, chicken was juicy, you know usually it’s dry in most places. Everything was just very nicely done. The service and atmosphere was very nice, nicely remodeled from the old place we loved. Excited to go back to make sure the first experience was worthy.

We are very glad Gary is back in the business! Great and busy atmosphere. The service is top notch…Gary has always excelled in this area! Everyone enjoyed the food. I was able to add some additional spice which they were willing to provide. Call a day ahead for reservations. Thank you Gary and staff for making our experience great! We will be back!

Gary’s is an awesome Chinese restaurant that is elevated above your typical Chinese food. He says hi to everyone that comes in and knows half of the patrons there. The chicken lettuce races were incredible! I love that come pre-portioned out. The orange chicken and sesame chicken were also great. Highly recommend!
