Garden Chalet

As a wedding officiant, I had the joy of performing a ceremony at the Garden Chalet, and it was such a beautiful experience! The venue truly lives up to its name — the garden spaces are lush, intimate, and create a perfect romantic backdrop for a couple’s “I do’s.” The staff was professional, attentive, and made sure everything flowed smoothly, which allowed me to focus on creating a meaningful ceremony for the couple. The indoor reception space also balances elegance and warmth, making it easy for guests to transition from vows to celebration. Garden Chalet is a wonderful choice for couples looking for a venue that combines natural beauty with excellent service. I would be honored to officiate there again!

Funeral luncheon. Friendly, courteous, and super accomodating staff. Pretty good food, reasonably priced. Only complaint is no credit card accepted at the bar (for $7 beers!). Other than that, good experience, and appreciate the friendly staff.

New owners. poor management and poor communication. Good luck reserving your special day and feeling at place and not be stressed. We let them know three times that we will be arriving one hour prior to set up, guess what. The room was dirty, not set up, and they had the nerve to say “we had a party last night and had no time to set up.” Mind you, we arrived at 10am and the event was at 11am. Had to juggle a vacuum, people setting up tables (mind you they didn’t even know how to set up place set), and instead of focusing on my decorations I had to direct where I would like the tables which was discussed one week prior to event. Food was decent but even after a year, you remember the poor customer service.

Poorly managed!!! Terrible communication from admin to staff. Do not make any agreements over phone without getting written signed contract on services, they will try to scam you! They told my wife over phone that we had to guarantee 50 people, as we weren’t sure how many would show after funeral, up to maybe 75. They said anything over 50 up to 75 would be additional cost which we agreed to. We had 45 people show for luncheon after burying her mother that day and according to arrangement we were ready to pay for 50 people. When trying to pay, manager told my wife we had to pay for 75 people. Ridiculous and very unprofessional manager!!!

Had my wedding reception here and the place was absolutely wonderful. Very accommodating. Marlene was the best. This is the best place to have a wedding or reception or any event you would like to have.
