Garcia's Drive Thru

I have eaten here twice, and both times were exceptional. The shrimp tacos are big and delicious, these aren't your typical little street tacos, they are using large flour tortillas for these bad boys! I also tried the cornadilla, which is a meat filled quesadilla on their fresh made corn tortillas, it was wonderful! And I literally got emotional eating the big breakfast steak burrito. It was the best breakfast burrito I have ever tasted. If you are anywhere near Grandview and are hungry, go try this place!

Man I’m so disappointed! This place use to make really good tacos! I went today and ordered “Asada Tacos and the meat didn’t even look or taste like asada at all! So dry n tough..the quality has gone way down… sad

So glad I had an opportunity to come here! Reminds me of the little roadside places I used to eat at when driving down and up the Baja ages ago. Homemade tortilla chips (and tortillas), fresh chunky salsa, strips of tender beef—really hit the spot. I ate in their charming courtyard (so like the ones I know from Mexico) while hummingbirds moved amongst the hanging flowers. Perfection!

We have been wanting to try this place and finally did! For a drive through Mexican I expected lesser quality but that was not the case here. It was so good and the drive through was still fast. Definitely will be there again.

Stopped in just to pick up rice and beans (32oz cups each) and was charged $25. At that price, it should taste amazing and be fresh, but no. We were given rice that was old and dry, not undercooked dry… it’s been sitting there and got dry. It was disgusting. Do better.
