Unfortunately had a poor experience here for lunch. I rarely complain about food but this burger was just too big and not very tasty. It’s impossible to eat a burger that’s six inches tall. For some reason it had three meat patties on it, plus all the veggies and bacon, making it just too large. I didnt care much for the meat as well, the patties definitely looked premade. The fries were okay, brought out a few minutes before the burger was served which was strange. And it took like 30 minutes for my food, definitely not a fast food restaurant. I would not recommend eating here.

My girlfriend and I visited Ganim's on a Thursday night. I've lived in the area for years and always drove past, but I never had the chance to go inside until recently. I wish I had visited sooner! Walking in, it felt like a whole-in-the-wall hidden gem and you could really feel history on the walls. The owner and staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. I ordered the two-piece fish and chips, while my girlfriend tried the cheeseburger with bacon. The hand-battered cod was well seasoned and paired beautifully with tartar sauce, making for a delicious late-night meal. The burger was equally delicious, with the shredded lettuce and burger sauce complementing the perfectly cooked medium rare quarter-pound patty. Unlike many places, Ganim's doesn't charge extra for sauce, which is a nic

Famous for its Fish n Chips, this neighborhood hangout also serves a decent selection of saucy burgers. A bunless version wrapped completely in lettuce — also an option. Yummy steak fries. With strong corner store vibes, this place is far from gourmet; but still, stick-to-your bones goodness when taking a break from the diet. Worth a try, likely to bring back nostalgic memories of the quintessential American greasy spoon.

Heard a lot of good things about ganims so was looking forward to trying their fish and chips, unfortunately for me the food was just not very good. The taste of the fish was lacking and the chips were also very bland. I got the two piece fish which is more then enough food and around $20, if your going alone I’d recommend a 1 piece. Other then that the atmosphere could have been better it was dead quite in there and would have been nice to have some music playing or something. But the service and drink selection was nice! They have a cooler of a bunch of drinks like a corner store would have so you have a wide selection! But for me I’d likely not return cause the fish just wasn’t very good. Personally I prefer Mission Rock Resort just down the street which has way better fish and chips fo

This place can do no wrong. You’d think a place that served everything would be mediocre at everything. Well, you’d be wrong because everything they make is the best of its category. Best fish and chips ever? Yes they have that. Best kebabs? Done. Best burrito? Yes. Best gyros? Of course. Grilled salmon so perfect it could rival a Michelin restaurant? It’s at Ganim’s. I don’t know how they do what they do, but I plan to eat here until the day I die. And you should too. Oh, and they’re a semi convenience store. So if you need a case of beer in a pinch, there’s that too.
