Gandolfo's New York Deli

I feel duped :-( I think they have high reviews because they bait you with free cake. The young woman with dark ponytail who took my order seemed to absolutely despise me, I asked a question about a sandwich and she seemed very annoyed to answer, only saying she does not like either of the ingredients personally that I was asking about: spicy mustard vs Russian sauce. There was an actual hair in my sandwich. Tried to take the picture is here. Sandwich completely soggy and could only eat with a fork. Don’t typically order this kind of sandwich so not sure if that normal but the crust was actually wet (photo) What a bummer.

Its a pretty good place to grab a quick breakfast or even lunch options and highly recommend the queens quite a bit. (I got the huveos locos also good) And the side dishes are also a wonderful addition to the palate to the taste buds.

First time eating here. The restaurant is in/attached to the gas station. I got take out for two half sandwiches. The staff were incredibly friendly and their menu is vast. The prices were absurd for what you get. (June 2025) The sandwich bread was okay, but not great. This french dip sandwich was the first French dip I’ve ever been disappointed by. The little Italian felt like it had more bread than fillings and that’s an issue to me when a 6ish inch sandwich is $8.31+ and a full size is $14.78+. Overall, just kind of meh. There are tons of sandwich shops in Utah County and I’d recommend almost all of them over the experience I had. The one caveat with this review is that I only tried two sandwiches. Never had a bad sandwich here. Great flavor combinations. Love the fact that i can get the breakfast sandwiches most of the day (until they turn off the grill to clean it). DELICIOUS!

I love the food it tastes amazing. Incredible food for the prices. Definitely coming back Friendly service.
