We are always excited to see new food options opening near the office and Gambino’s could not have picked a better time. What truly sets this place apart is Mohamed. He genuinely makes the experience. He remembers his regulars by name and by order and always brings the most positive upbeat energy no matter how busy it gets. Absolutely top-tier deli spot. The sandwiches are stacked, fresh, and made with real care not skimpy, not rushed. Every bite had great flavor, from the perfectly toasted bread to the quality meats and crisp veggies. You can tell they don’t cut corners here. Can't go wrong with the Gambino or the cowboy burger. The staff was friendly and efficient, even during a busy rush, and the place itself was clean and welcoming. Portions are generous for the price, and you actually leave feeling satisfied. If you’re looking for a solid, no-nonsense sandwich that hits every time, this place is it. Definitely coming back and recommending to anyone who appreciates a good deli sandwich.

Dont order the reuben, it has to be one of the worst Ive ever had. The meat is so thin and dry, AND i ordered it with double meat for extra cost. Do you normally only give 2 slices? Im so confused. Not enough of everything, the sauerkraut was minimal, the sauce was minimal. Im confused how the meat and actual sandwich was so dry, yet the bread was super soggy and floppy? But the service was good. The lady taking my order was super sweet. The sandwich did take a while but there was a decent line of people waiting for their orders ahead of me. Unfortunately I cannot return though because the audacity of this sandwich was ew.

One of the best lunch spots downtown!!! You really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, but the burger is a standout. The team is always friendly and the service is consistently great. They genuinely make you feel welcome every time. Definitely worth checking out next time you’re in the area

Hands down the best subs in SF – So happy they’re on Kearny! I have been a loyal customer of Gambino’s since their days at the Embarcadero location, so I was absolutely thrilled when they opened this new spot on Kearny right near my current office. It’s officially the highlight of my work week. As always, the food is incredible. You cannot go wrong with The Gambino (my go-to), and the Meatball Parm is easily the best I’ve had in the city. Beyond the food, what makes this place special is the service. The two brothers who run the shop are legends; they always remember my name and make you feel like family. If you’re looking for the best sub in San Francisco, this is it.
