Gallatin Public Library Of Sumner County

Wonderful Library. I remember going here as a child around elementary-middle school, I've graduated from college now!! I felt so safe and relaxed at this library YEARS ago! Had such a good time with my family at this library, so many good memories :'D

Not the largest selection, but a VERY friendly staff. They offer a free craft each week and have plenty of programming for kids and adults of all ages. I do with there were more evening and weekend programs so working parents could crochet or join a book club after work. Overall, we really like this library. The ladies at the front desk and upstairs were so so sweet and helpful. I love how children friendly this library is and how focused they are to creativity with their community. They only charge 25 cents a page to print black and white which was perfect because I don’t have a printer at home. They only take cash for printed papers, so don’t expect to be able to use a card! I love our libraries, and these workers work so hard to keep it cute and welcoming.

Our family loves it at the Gallatin Library! They host several groups and events. The selection is quite multifarious and the staff is phenomenal. It is a weekly stop for our family!

Awful parking arrangements and terrible management. My wife parked in the same place that people park ALL THE TIME and they towed multiple cars including hers without letting folks know that they needed to move. The person running the story time for children couldn't even provide the decency of letting people know their cars needed to be moved. Apparently, she left the room and made an announcement over the intercom, but the story time was in a room with a bunch of screaming & laughing toddlers. Why she couldn't have just gotten everyone's attention and made the announcement is baffling. Very disappointed with the staff and management was unempathetic and dismissive. WON'T BE BACK
