In the mood for one of my favorite dishes from Singapore and Thailand, I decided to check out Gai Chicken n' Rice. The ambiance was a perfect slice of the Hawker Markets in Singapore, or the little street restaurants of Thailand; enamel cups, spice stations and teapots, traditional wood or plastic chairs, brightly colored tablecloths and window shutters. The nostalgia was made even more complete with the different aromas of spices and sounds of delicious food being cooked. The menu was varied but not too large, full of traditional Thai fare. But I already knew what I wanted, the chicken and rice. While it may not sound like much, the preparation of the food is what makes it taste so magnificent. What I was not expecting was that they offered the usually steamed chicken as a fried chicken o

I have heard of this restaurant from my friend. Today, I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. The menu offered a great variety of options, and everything I tried exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend this place and look forward to coming back again.

⸻ Today I visited Gai Chicken N Rice in Fort Lauderdale, and I have to say—the Pandan Custard Toast (Kanom Pang Sangkhaya) was absolutely amazing. The bread was perfectly toasted on the outside, soft on the inside, and the pandan custard was rich, fragrant, and not overly sweet. It’s the kind of dessert that instantly reminds you of authentic Thai flavors, but with a level of quality that makes it stand out even more. If you’re stopping by the restaurant, this is definitely a must-order item. Trust me—you won’t regret it!

Great Thai food and the vibe! We ordered cigar spring roll, a new appetizer fish cake, Khao Mun Kai with poached chicken and chicken liver, and a Thai-style red curry rice noodle. The cigar spring roll is crispy and the flavor is great dipped in the special sauce. Fish cake is strong Thai style you’d like it if you like to try something new. The Khao Mun Kai reminds me of Hainan chicken rice and is fresh. It came with a free chicken soup. Red curry rice noodle is a bit spicy but also good and new to me. If you are new to Thai food, this will be a good place to start your Southeast Asia cuisine journey; if you are familiar with Thai food but want to try something new other than Pad Thai, also a great place to do such exploration and you won’t regret it

Souped in yesterday 1/9/26- the tables are very bright and colorful. The service was excellent before we had a chance to look at the menu. We had two nice cups water. She brought over a special board, lotta stuff on it, but I didn’t understand it. G had his usual pad Thai chicken I had some thing I’ve never had before. It came with sliced pork, a little fatty noodles, spinach two of their wontons, chicken and pork I believe and crab very small amount. It was tasty, but I wasn’t. I had never had something like that before and it came with a side of chicken brought that had radish in it looked like a potato to me so I put the wontons in the plain broth. Service was excellent.
