Gabino's Diner

It looks like a vintage aluminum diner, it's small inside not many tables. They have counter and booth service. Our first time here and it was a nice surprise. The waiter was courteous and able to communicate the menu and ordering options. We ordered deep fried tacos and a pork sandwich. All our food was great. Very authentic we would definitely return. Upon our leaving the manager or the owner asked how everything was and told us we should order something different each time we return so we can taste everything... Good idea.

Traveling back from a trip on a Sunday. We didn’t want to go to a chain so googled Mexican restaurant near me and this came up. It’s a small diner and was crowded. Language barrier was a tiny bit of a challenge but made it work. The food was fresh, hot and absolutely delicious. I mean so, so good! I’m so glad we stopped here

I never thought I would find Mexican food so legit in Long Island. Place is simply amazing. Felt like I was home in Texas. Check this place out! You will not be disappointed.

Authentic Mexican food, convenient location and descent price. Direction: Google Map guided me in a very strange way there so here is my suggestion. Once you reach the plaza parking lot, just park there and walk to the restaurant directly instead of going to the back of the buildings. Expectation: My Mexican friend brought me to this restaurant. It is very busy and the tables were full when I arrive. Most of customers speak Spanish here which also raise my expectation on the food~ Food: They provide Special of Day which is a hidden menu. On that day it was different kind of meat (shrimp, chicken, beef, and so on) hanging on a hot rock bowl with three feet. I looks interesting but sadly it is a bit salty for me. My friend recommended Molcajete so I ordered it. This dish includes chicken

Amazing low-key Mexican diner. Great limited short order menu. The roja sauce with the complimentary chips was great. I ordered chicken enchiladas which came ina green sauce topped with chopped steak and a fried egg. The horchata was delicious. Muy bueno.
