Fultoo Biryani House Rowan

My son and I were looking for a lunch spot on our second visit to Rowan University. The colorful outside of Fultoo Biryani House caught our attention and we decided to try it out. It was around 1 on Monday and there was plenty of seating. The employee at the counter was friendly and helpful. He explained spice levels and suggested a lunch special. My son ordered the lunch special and I got the chicken tikki masala. We also got Nan bread and a mango lassi drink to cut the heat of the biryani rice dish. The portions were large. The rice was delicious. I love that my sauce was on the side. The food was made to order, but service felt quick. There was a non-stop flow of Rowan students picking up food. Authentic Indian cuisine, with a range of choices so vast you might have a hard time picking. Palak at the counter was very helpful in picking something that someone who has not had Indian food before would enjoy. Recommend going during happy hour (12-4pm), during which you can get combos, slightly discounted food, and a quiet spot to eat in a bustling college town.

Palak was our receptionist/waitress and her service was amazing! The food was very delicious? We got the chicken butter masala and garlic naan and the plate was wiped clean! It tastes authentic and even the spices were perfect. Definetly recommend!!!

The customer service here was amazing. The staff were friendly, quick, and made sure everything was perfect. The dosa was fresh and crispy, and the chutney and sambar were full of flavor. Easily one of the best spots near Rowan.

A large group of my friends came late on a Friday night. Palak, who took our orders, was amazing! She was so patient as we looked over the menu. The food was so delicious too!t friends from India loved it too!
