Full Moon Palace

There is just something different about small town Chinese places that can make them hidden gems. They tend to have great food for the price. They have a bit of that nostalgic feel to them as they likely haven't updated the decor in generations. They are humble and focus on the likes of their community. Full Moon is a perfect example of this. Their lunch special is a great deal. Your typical list of entrees (I got Generals Chicken) with rice or chow mein, a springroll/eggroll and a bowl of soup. All of it was very tasty and despite being a slow Sunday afternoon, tasted freshly made. The owners cook and serve and do everything. And they are super nice. If you ever find yourself in Galt, Full Moon Palace is worth checking out!

I would avoid this place, I found a fortune cookie in my hot and sour soup. In which we had no fortune cookies whatsoever. Very unsanitary.

We arrived and were warmly greeted. We just wanted to order “to go” and had a beverage while we were waiting. The waitress was excellent and cheerful, she brought us a cup of soup while we were waiting for our food. The soup was delicious as well as the broccoli & beef with steamed rice we took back to our hotel. It was by far the best beef and broccoli I have ever had. Fresh vegetables and generous amount of beef. I highly recommend this restaurant, you will not be disappointed.

We came in during lunch time and we ordered their lunch specials. I ordered Cashew chicken and hubby got Garlic Chicken. The latter was very good. Almost like Orange Chicken, texture-wise. Food was hot and fresh, served with soup and egg roll. It was good value for your money. The 2nd pic is Cashew Chicken. Its a little salty for my taste though.
