Fujiyama

We were a bit disappointed with our visit. Service was quite slow - it took about 50 minutes for our sushi to arrive. The rolls themselves were surprisingly small; we ordered three “special rolls” (our usual amount at other places), but we left still feeling hungry. Even the water had a strange aftertaste. The bill came to $60 (before tip) for just three rolls, and one of them wasn’t even what I ordered. I decided to check the receipt, but the rolls weren’t itemized on it at all. Overall, not the best experience.

The place is very quiet during the time and was passing through the area to have lunch. It’s not noisy like outside and love the atmosphere with the umbrellas and Asian dolls.

We loved Fujiyama! This restaurant is tucked away on North Forest Forest Beach Drive in the rear of a complex of shops. It's a little difficult to find, but it was a gem of a find! The sushi was some of the best we ever had. We had the BMW, Hot Mama Roll, and the New York Roll - all fresh and delicious. The BMW was our favorite, with a slight crunch from frying. It was very lightly fried, not greasy at all. I would bet you could not go wrong with any of the rolls here, given how delicious our three choices were. We will be back!

This place was small and rather hidden (or maybe it's just me). The food is amazing! The server was very personable. He made some recommendation and they were so good! I maybe partial to Japanese food and I am very particular. I usually don't order sushi, but they were exceptional. I had the mango lobster roll and the double spicy tuna. So good!

Ate here Xmas Eve and could not be more impressed with the service and the food. The service was quick and the food was on point. Some of the best Japanese food we have eaten. Ordered Tuna Carpaccio, Gyoza, Spicy Twin Salmon roll & chicken katsudon - WOW! The chicken in the katsudon is unmatched to any breaded chicken experience ever. Amazing and hospitable owners, you’re missing out if you don’t eat here.
