Fuji Japanese Cuisine

I took my family there this past Friday. I ordered steak and scallops and my wife hibachi chicken with fried rice. My kids ordered both hello kitty sushi. Received our orders my wife had steamed rice, told the waitress we ordered fried rice. They came back the second time again with steamed rice. I told the waitress again we ordered fried rice after the 3rd attempt we got it. My food was completely cold, the manager come by and told she could microwave it. I told her that would change me medium steak to well done. She brought me some fesh hot vegetables but would change my meat. So I ate hot veggies with cold meat. My kids both ate the same kind roll. My oldest said her tasted funny, my youngest said her was great. My youngest then tasted my other dsughter roll and agreed it was terrible.

Went there last Sunday, not during busy hour for quick dinner. The first impression was still alright, the host was just okay at the beginning and the restaurant ambience seems like an old fashioned diner. Tried their chirashi, since we can measure the level of freshness of their fish qualities from one simple dish. Was simply astounded due to the level of low quality cuts of their fish and presentation. The yellowtail was not cut cleanly, as if sliced with a dull knife, and the presentation was just unappealing. The portion was meagerly small, and the taste was just beyond describable. Chirashi should not skimp on the quality of fish, especially yellowtail. The sampler (kurasu was it, I guessed) was barely okay, the cuts were so tiny. We frequently go here for dinner, the past couple times the food takes forever . The last time I went I never even got my food, after 45 minutes and 4 other tables I told them to take it off my bill. This used to be run very professionally and if you don’t get your management up to speed then this will be the next place to close!! Just saying.. do better

Food was fast. Suspiciously fast for sushi being made to order. Maybe they are just that quick but something on the plate smelled almost soured. Not necessarily bad but not fresh. It did taste fine. I would say good but unremarkable. Also there was a large number of staff standing around doing nothing and one younger guy leaned against the back wall making way too much eye contact. We ate and left quickly.

Friendly, fast service and pretty good food. I couldn’t believe how fast we got served and our food came out crazy fast. The sushi roll lunch special was a decent price and no complaints about the taste. The miso soup had a really great flavor. This place checks all the boxes for a good Japanese food experience.
