Fuji Hibachi & Sushi Steakhouse (Edgewater)

Fuji Steakhouse has a nice atmosphere and good service. The food was artistically presented. I especially liked the orchids on the plates. The salt sculptures were cute, but our "bird" was missing its head and neck. Odd. The food was tasty, from the soups and salads to the sushi and stir-fry. I ordered two sushi rolls for a family member at home, and they described it as the mushiest and least appetizing sushi they'd ever had. The fish was not in chunks inside the roll as expected, but appeared to be ground up in a blender like canned tuna. Unfortunately, I will never order takeout here again.

The Best Sushi you will ever taste. Will is a true artist. From the food and the atmosphere. This place is a MUST. I live 1 1/2 hours away and will always come back here for the food. This place deserves well above 5 stars.

Wonderful experience. We popped in for soup and sushi during lunch. Staff were all very polite and accommodating. The sushi chef made us a delicious million dollar roll along with some sort of special roll that was a nice surprise! We will visit again.

Owner changed but the food pretty much stayed the same. Happy hour is the best time to swing by. 4 till 6pm Mon- Fri. All appetizers are half off. Chicken katsu, large fried rice with yum yum sauce fills my needs. The food off the grill is large enough to share so you can plan accordingly.

Ordered take out of seaweed salad and spicy tuna roll but not sure what I got. The “roll” was smaller than typical rolls and the filling was ground, not whole tuna which I was accustomed to. Also the salad was not the classic seaweed salad that was pictured in my order. I appreciate the clarity provided by restaurant and have adjusted to more positive rating, as I was unfamiliar with ground tuna sushi.
