Fry's

All Fry's grocery stores are pretty much the same. Very good prices and weekly sales in every department in the store. Fresh produce, great meat and seafood selections, deli is always prepared to serve you with their fried chicken, to side dishes. Plus they carry Boars Head meats. Bakery has a very good selection of rolls, fresh baked breads, donuts, bagels, and desserts. Highly recommended shopping at Fry's.

I'm at this Frys, 20220 N 59th Ave, nearly every day. We find about everything we need on a daily basis, lots of specials, 1st Wed of the month is senior's day and that's good for 10% off. Pretty good bakery, very good deli, good dairy. We can get good meat and frequent specials. A bonus is, beefing a member (free) you accumulate points, abs at certain had stations you get sushi on gas. It's not unusual that I will get 50 or 60 cents off per gallon. Not bad. They keep the store clean, have a friendly staff. Most of the time I do self checkout abs even then I sometimes need help lol. They keep good hours, starting at 6a and end at various times, but late. Lots of parking. I will admit I'm biased

The folks that work there are superb! They go out of their way to ensure get what you're looking for! The butcher will cut nearly everything exactly as you want it!

I cannot understand why they run out of icing for the cherry turnovers. what is the big deal? I have been there and asked them to please put icing on the turnovers. Even when they have it, it is missing. Another mystery is the lack of poppy seed rolls. Any time I go to the store, there isn't any poppy seed rolls. I'm sure there is not an overdose problem with these seeds. I have, asked and was told, we are out of them. The other stores have them, maybe you could borrow some.

No matter what day of the week I go in there the produce area looks post apocalyptic. In the evening, you have one third of your self check outs open, one person keeping an eye on that , and one other register open, and always a line several people deep at the self check outs. Another thing that had finally sealed the deal for me is the deli and meat counter. Regardless of what day off the week it is, the deli and meat counter are closed. The expectation is they stay open until 8 PM, but in the past 3 months I have gone in just past 7 PM on 4 separate occasions and they were closed, I asked each time for assistance and that I was under the impression they are open until 8 PM, and the response, “we are closing early due to staffing issues”.
