[store #623 PHX] Had an unusual experience with one of the mgmt staff, which has been well documented and rectified...to the exception that this individual is still dealing directly with members of the public. I was returning a Kroger apple cider, and didn't even want money back. Although it's not their policy to accept the return of liquor, the juice had fermented. In 25 years of preferentially shopping at Fry's all over Phoenix, this has never occurred, and the two individuals—who initially helped—seemed to appreciate the dilemma. I see these folks a few times a week, and wasn't trying to cause any difficulty, but the mgr in question didn't immediately act like this was the grave medical concern for some shoppers it might have been. No one wants to get their kids drunk, I don't have
Shout out to the night manager Stephanie. She went above and beyond to ensure that our "Magical 2 year Birthday" surprise would be saved. We came to the store about a half hour before close on a busy Holiday weekend, needing a miracle. Stephanie was patient, calm and willing to assist where 2 other non Fry's stores had failed. She filled my Grandbabies special order balloons so she could wake up to a special birthday surprise. Her entire demeanor and reaction to customers and staff show her dedication and warmth!!! Very kind.
I've shopped at many Fry's Food Stores but, this store is very clean and the employees here are very friendly. Always willing to help, great customer service. Meat dept is always full and appealing. Grocery aisle are fully stocked as well as the surrounding areas. Produce area grabs my attention as soon as I walk in. Very clean, organized, full of color and fresh veggies and fruits. I always have the greatest experience here. It's not located in the best of places but, once inside u feel welcomed and comfortable knowing your going to have a great shopping experience. Chip aisle is always looking good to. If u can't find hot Cheetos you will find them here while supplies last haha. They just extended the chip aisle with now an even bigger selection. Don’t forget your salty snacks on the way
I had such a great experience at frys today thanks to dashawn! From the moment I walked in I saw dashawn and he was welcoming, patient, and really listened to what I was looking for. He went above and beyond to help me find the perfect gift for my daughter I wanted to make sure I found all the stuff I need and making sure I was happy with my choice. Dashawn needs a raise with his kind heart and helpful personality!! Every frys I went too had unhelpful people and im glad I was able to stop here in a rush!
This is by far the worst Fry's I've shopped at in the 7 years I have lived in Arizona. Their carts either don't steer well, make loud banging sounds or don't work at all. Their produce is often low quality and spoils very soon after purchasing. Their Rotisserie chicken is sometimes cooked, but sometimes it's not. Their customer service line is usually long and slow, typically with only one attendant. I have observed their security yelling across the store at eachother and have walked right in front of me while I was pushing a heavy cart. Lastly, some of their cashiers have been unhelpful, argumentative, illinformed, and undertrained. But, to be fair, there have been some that were very pleasant, professional and willing to help.
