Fritanga El Gueguense

Anytime I order from a Central American or South American establishment I'm use to high prices and small servings on my plate. So, when I was told the price was $18 from a food truck I figured it'd be the same situation. Boy, was I surprised when I got my to go plate it was piled with food and not just with rice. The 2 large pieces of steak, fried cheese and whole sweet plantain had me happy. But, just because the portions were high doesn't mean the food is good, does it? Thankfully the food delivered in the taste department the steak rice and beans are seasoned perfectly. The marinade for the steak out of this world. If my route has me in this area again I'll make sure and get 2 plates 😆🤦🏿‍♂️ I didn't grade atmosphere because I didn't get to stick around.

Very interesting because it is a food truck, however the food is good. Coming from Miami where we have fritangas everywhere I can not complaint. We be coming again to check the rest of the menu. Will keep posting.

What delicious Nica food! The food was served in a timely matter. A kids menu option would have been helpful but they ended up eating the meat it was that good. The juice was my favorite, I had to take one to go!

I ordered the tacos nicas with the tamarind drink, it was fantastic! I'm definitely going back to try other menu items.

Excellent service, one of the best seasoned foods I've ever tried. 100% recommended.
