Friend's Garden

Literally the worst Chinese food I have had in my life. If I could give zero stars I would. Chicken fingers tasted like they were cooked in year old grease. Chicken Lo Mein looked and tasted like vomit. They even somehow managed to make pork fried rice taste disgusting. It was mealy and undercooked. Do Not Order from here! Complete waste of money. We took 2 bites and threw out $45 worth of food. Repulsive.

Such a low quality of food. When ask for extra duck sauce you get a half of a small container. I have pictures. Ordered twice and both times terrible. I don’t drive due to brain cancer. It’s the only place around that delivers for Chinese. I wouldn’t.

This place is under new management, but this isn't advertised. I would say they changed hands around 4-6 months ago. Used to be delicious, big portions and favorably priced. New people have not switched to a new menu but also don't honor the old one... So when you order things you've been ordering for years, they just say they don't have it. I gave it a shot around 4 times after realizing they had new owners to see if they'd be able to uphold the previous level of quality and they cannot. I now go to Gardner for my Chinese food, which is a shame because this was my favorite place :(

Don't waste your hard earned money here. Not only did the order not come correct and they charged us extra for things we didn't get or didn't even ask for. The food is so bland. The rice is awful. No flavor at all. Might as well just eat white rice. The crab Rangoon filling isn't terrible but the dough is gross and not cooked right and there is like a teaspoon of filling in them. The ribs dry and again not flavorful. General tso's wasn't terrible either. Beef lo mein, also flavorless. We will never go back here. What a waste of money and a huge disappointment. Either don't get Chinese or go out of town. Would be nice if Winchendon had another option for Chinese. My guess if they are even a tad better than Freinds Garden would put them out of business. I am really not sure how anyone enjoy

I travel around the state for work. I’m in Winchendon tonight. I stopped in to try it. The food was excellent.
