Friendly's

We love visiting Friendly's when we can. This place was quite a different experience. We were welcomed at the door by a girl who obviously didn't want to be there. Maybe she was tired, mad, frustrated, all of it. She sat us at a table that hadn't even been wiped off or cleaned underneath. She continued to do it with other people too, I guess wiping the table took too much effort. Our waitress came (Navani T is what is on my receipt), super sweet and nice, she took care of us and gave us napkins for us to wipe our table off. She was the only waitress there. We visited on a Sunday around 7pm. She had over 8 tables by herself with parties of all sizes 2-8 at each table. It wasnt the old friendly from when i was a kid ot had the same face ice creams but the atmospher isnt like all smiles and friendliness its more like just cut to the chase what do you want sit here heres your check have a nice day. One gentlemen though however j saw with a little boy getting down to his eye level and assuring him his food would be right out since his moms had come first. I believe it to be the same gentleman that was at the desk when i entered.

Aging building but good food and relatively good service (they forgot broccoli side and when it did come out, it was cold). I got the Philly Cheese Steak Melt which really hit the spot and the Mint Chocolate Chip Sundae which I ate to quick to get a picture 😂. Great food and nice service.

I used to love coming here as a child, it was one of my favorite restaurants growing up, I’m so sad that it’s disappearing, and I was so excited to get another chance to go and eat there. Good food per usual, always very accommodating, and the ice cream was delicious.

Feeling all the nostalgia at Friendly’s. It has always been one of my favorite spots growing up, and their food and ice cream is just as good as I remember! I started with their sample platter (pick three) and got the iconic mini mozzarella sticks, chicken quesadillas, and loaded waffles fries. For an entree, my mom got the crispy chicken wrap with fries, and I got the featured fav, patty melt with onion rings and thousand island dressing on the side to dip (10/10 recommend). Under no circumstances should you leave Friendly’s without getting ice cream — their classic monthly sundaes always hit, but I also tried one of their new unique creations, the ice cream nachos with fresh strawberries and bananas, and caramel and chocolate sauce.
