Frieda's Cafe

I love them and their restaurant. My Mom says they’re amazing , and all though she has anxiety, she feels comfortable and safe there. It is very much a homey , cozy atmosphere. One of the best places to be around here for sure! My Mom and I love to visit regularly! The food! … AaMAzing!

Frieda cafe reminds us of Mickey’s Diner. It has the same layout. It’s a small cafe which you can sit at the table or at the counter. The food is quite affordable, but you get what you pay for. My burger was small and thin. It came without any lettuce or tomato. Although my son really enjoyed his pizza burger. Overall, we all got filled up by our meals. Our server was very friendly and checked on us multiple times. We would recommend this restaurant.

I stopped here for lunch on a Tuesday and it’s a classic diner, the type of place I love. FIRST AND FOREMOST, THIS IS CASH ONLY! I forgot to check before I ordered and had to run to an ATM to pay my bill. I can honestly say I have not been to a restaurant that has more reasonable prices than Frieda’s Café, it was CRAZY to see in 2023. These are throwback prices to the early 2000’s. I ordered the BLT Sandwich and fries, and it was really good. The BLT was not large as you might expect for the price but was a good sandwich. It had several pieces of bacon, and everything was really fresh. The French fries were crinkle cut and very good. The service was good, considering every seat in the place was taken. My Fiancè and I just sat outside/inside for over 30 minutes waiting to do a takeout order , and when we got to the register finally - Steve refused a to go order but would serve us if we sat down. A huge disappointment to say the least. The food is amazing but the service could be much better. Wouldn’t a take out order be the easiest to serve than make us sit in an already super crowded establishment?

I've never had such great food surrounded by real friendly people...! Employees so good at there jobs and not being overwhelmed cuz the place was packed and no customers were upset.... Just amazing overall and cheap prices...!
