Frickin' Chicken

A couple coworkers and I decided to stop in for lunch on a Friday. You can tell the food is going to be good based on the crowd of people on a not great weather day. If you didn’t already know, this is a food truck. Even with the busy time of day, the staff were attentive and super nice. We each got their large pile of tenders and a side so we could split three different sides. The large tenders is more than enough for a grown man that skipped breakfast. We were stuffed and unable to finish with the sides for under $20. The flavor and consistency were fantastic. Even the little bites that I expected to be all breading, had juicy chicken in them. If you have been driving by for years and haven’t stopped in, I highly recommend you give it a try.

Steve and Tiff are great! The food is very reasonably priced for the portions and more importantly it tastes great! A family can stop by and all be full for less than anywhere else in Rutland.

We stopped in on our way to New Hampshire for a camping trip. It was easy to access with the camper attached. Great service. Super fast. The chicken, sides, and sauces were AMAZING! Especially enjoyed the frickin sauce and homemade ranch! Hope to travel through again sometime.

Their food is always consistent and their prices are really good. I usually get the $10 "half dat" (fried chicken with a side). So much food for a reasonable price! Their sauces are homemade and have the best ranch in town, seriously. I like to try new sauces and sometimes will end up getting four separate ones for no charge! And there's a lot of sauce in each one! The batter for the chicken is seasoned, always crispy, and always cooked right. The sides are hit or miss for my personal preference but still good! They also deliver the food to your car so you don't have to wait in the sun. They're always nice and make recommendations if you are indecisive. Love this place!

May 2025 Update: Glad to see them open again! Delicious chicken and sides! Had my favorite; Half Dat, Corn Shots and the Horseradish Aioli. Ordered the Buffalo Chicken Dip and Homemade chips for the first time. Good stuff!!! Fair prices and friendly service. I'm happy to support and recommend this local business.
