Frey's Delicatessen

We visited Frey’s today for the first time. We walked in and ordered at the counter. We ordered a pizza steak with mushrooms, cheesesteak with fried onions, Italian hoagie with oil, and a chicken salad wrap for take out. While we waited I looked around a little. The place was clean, and bright. The lady that took our order was very nice, and made sure that she got the details of our order correct. I really love that when a business wants to make sure the order is correct. We spent a few minutes talking to her, and she told us that the business has been around for 40+ years. We got home and tried the sandwiches. We like the cheesesteaks overall. The pizza steak had plenty of mushrooms, and sauce on the bottom. It was easy to handle and didn’t fall apart. Freys is one of those places that quietly serves great food. If you’re looking for deli food, check it out. The hoagie dip is legendary, and if you try nothing else, try that. It’s a great addition to a Girls Weekend, watching sports or any get together.

Best deli in the northern Philly region. Gloria and Tom are the best.

This is the best spot in Penndel to get a hoagie. They are reasonably priced and they really stuff your hoagie. All the other food here is good too. Come here and you won't be disappointed.
