Freshido

Very disappointed! Second time my order was wrong here. The food was ok, why can an Asian place not cook rice correctly is beyond me. Lots of things were missing. There were no mango popping pearls in my honeydew boba, my sides of sauce weren’t there, there were no mushrooms in my bowl, if they did put hijiki in there it was a tiny amount. THESE ARE ALL THINGS I PAID EXTRA FOR BTW. The ingredients were semi fresh I suppose, but the portions are small. Had like 3-4 pieces of tuna and it was somehow very bland. Not recommended to order online, going into the store you won’t find as many problems. Skip this place and go to Hawaii Poke or Mochi Mama.

Freshido definitely hits the spot. We moved out of state a few months ago and whenever we come back to town we love swinging by Freshido as one of our first stops. The added items to the menu really help make it a new experience each time. They have some great appetizers. I can usually order 3 of those and be happy. The stir-fry is also another great option. Definitely give this place a try. You don't know how lucky you are, central PA.

I have gone here a few times on Friday and had to not get what I want as everything is empty. When I asked if they could get a full restock they said they were out. If I am there before 1pm and you are open until 3pm, how do you serve everyone else? You cannot continue to say you are out of items with over 2 hours until close.. I have worked in restaurants - for the price I am paying everything should be stocked or you should go replace the empty items instead of telling people you are out.

I ordered take out. I got there and they had my order ready, just hadn’t placed it in the bag, so she did that while we had a fun chat about how many Kate’s and Katie’s they had today. Upon leaving, I think it was the manager that realized the sauces weren’t placed in the bag and she came out and called my name and ran after me. I was already half way down the block. She was so friendly. Great meal and sweet service!
