Cold fish cold fish cold fish and sour spoiled tartar sauce Just to remove the top from the tartar sauce is horrible the color isn’t good either. I wouldn’t want my customers to pay $20 for a cold dinner

First impressions are everything. They weren’t friendly but not rude either. I got fish okra and broccoli cheese rise. The sides were ok my issue was my fish. Completely burned! I was hungry and didn’t want to go back. Needless to say I definitely won’t be back! $30 for burnt fish! So they definitely won’t get business from me again or will I recommend them to anyone!

I've passed this place enough times to build up an appetite for it, though the name convinced me that it sold something other than southern comfort food. Despite that interesting surprise, the food here was good. Though the sides I ordered with my Tuesday plate (macaroni and cheese, steamed squash and a yeast roll) tasted fine, the real star of this plate was the fried pork chop. I'd come back here just for that, and in due time, I will.

We normally order for pick-up for our office maybe once a week. It has started to go downhill lately. Well today was absolutely horrible. Out of three plates only a few items were edible. No seasoning, country fried steak was fried in super heavy cornmeal batter, beans had left over soap taste like poorly rinsed dishes, and dumplings were way over salted. We have put this location on the "Never call back" list today. Been a patron since their opening.

This was a new place for me that I chose because I couldn’t tell from social media or google of it was opened or not (very few current updates.) It’s got good country southern food that will bring me back again! I ordered the chicken and dumplins, sweet potato casserole (could’ve been carrot soufflé but it was still good), apple cobbler, spicy cornbread and a drink. Meal costs about $12. There was plenty that looked good but for my first time I have no regrets. Hope to visit more new places soon. (Open to invites or sponsorships)
