FRESH. Local Ice Cream

Such a great experience! I didn't plan on going, but I'm so grateful I did. The customer service is great, and the ice cream is even better! If you have a selective palette you can taste the freshness of the products. I ordered the Midnight Brownie Crunch. Also, their restroom is very clean and adorably fitting for their brand.

FRESH. Local Ice Cream really lives up to its name! I tried the Cookies & Cream non-dairy shake, and it was surprisingly rich and creamy—you’d never guess it was dairy-free. The flavor was spot on, with just the right amount of cookie chunks and sweetness. They have a great variety of flavors (including non-dairy options), and the staff is super friendly and helpful if you’re not sure what to get. You can tell they really care about quality and making everything from scratch. It’s a fun local spot with generous portions and a welcoming vibe. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the mood for a treat

I wouldn’t recommend eating here. This was my favorite ice cream shop, and due to the [perceived] quality, I didn’t mind the prices. I bought a pre-packed pint of Cookie Butter ice cream [I saw the cashier grab it from the freezer] and as I was eating it, found a long hair embedded deep inside the pint. My hair is curly and brown, and I have no pets so it didn’t come from me. After looking at other reviews, it seems like there are serious concerns with how this shop handles food safety and sanitation. Who knows what other health code violations are happening behind the scenes. For a brand that brags about [and charges for] using local and premium ingredients, finding hair churned into your product is absolutely unacceptable. I was waiting on the bus, wearing all black and it was really hot out. I decided to grab a scoop of ice cream. I was a little disappointed and discouraged to spend so much for just one scoop of icecream with sprinkles but let me tell you... I had the banana pudding and that was probably the best money I've ever spent on something to eat, much less icecream and I love sweets!!! Definitely a must try! And if that's coming from me, I'm very hard to please so this says a whole lot! Thanks Fresh!!!
