French Toast DMV

After a quick Google search for breakfast in Arlington, we decided on this place. As other reviewers mentioned, the French toast is good but the other items we ordered were terrible. I ordered eggs scrambled soft and they were beyond well done to the point where they were brown and crunchy. We also ordered hash browns and they were the worst! So much grease!

They have really good coffee here! My friend has also raved about their French toast. Justin and his coworker are so friendly. They also give out treats for dogs :)

We stayed in Alexandria for a few days and decided to try this place for breakfast. Hands down, the best French toast I’ve had in a while. It’s evident that they take great pride in their product. The gentleman working the trailer was very kind and approachable, and gladly answered our questions about the business and food. Their menu is quite unique. The strawberry cheesecake French toast was great, and so was the bananas foster. They also have a monthly flavor which we didn’t try, but it’s great to have that rotating option. Overall, we absolutely loved French Toast DMV and we definitely recommend it.

I've passed by the sign for this food truck a few times but I kept forgetting about it when thinking of food options. I'm so glad I was able to try it and I'll definitely be back! The truck is a bit hidden in an alleyway. The truck has a variety of French toast options to choose from and I got the Blueberry Cheesecake Stuffed French Toast. The staff member working the truck was great as he was friendly and helpful with narrowing down my options. There was about a 10 minute wait for him to make my order and I was able to sit on the porch of the house next to it that he shared was part of their food truck.

I’ve been to this spot 5 or 6 times already in my short time of hearing about it and every single time it’s been a great experience. Please give the seasonal French toast flavors a try, always ask for recommendations and know that whatever you get… it’ll be an experience. Now this is a kind of grab and go kind of place, with outdoor seating options only, so prepare yourselves for that, but just know it’s great overall! Love the candied bacon as well, it’s a great side to pair with the already amazing French toast! 10/10 must try again spot!!
