Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers

Hit the spot today- Crispy and tasty shoestring fries, delicious burger, and that rich, creamy custard to finish it out was so good. Service was quick, food is consistent, and it’s always a solid choice for us - the Christmas music was a nice touch too. Clean too!

As a person who cannot handle the texture of potatoes very much i was very disappointed to find out that they have changed their iconic skinny Freddy’s fries to these huge fries. Very disappointing and you could also see on the website that the fries look like the iconic Freddy’s fries but we got this instead.

Sat in the drive thru for 20 minutes while waiting for my food, it was a mobile order so they’ve had it for about 30 minutes at this point. Made direct eye contact with multiple workers and none of them even bothered to open up the window and let me know what was going on, or give me my food if it was ready. Awful experience and I’m genuinely disappointed as I love Freddy’s food but this was just an awful experience to have. Multiple of the workers are just sitting back there doing nothing and talking during this too. I was then told to go around to the inside of the store, and grab the food that was clearly sitting on the carry out rack that they easily could’ve grabbed and not had me wait for 30 minutes at this point.

Its a Freddy's, if youre reading this review that likely means you havent been which is surprising. Its like steak and shake but cheaper, the food is good, the sweets are sweet, they have a good fry sauce. For the price its not bad if youre looking for an economically sound place for your value. This store in particular is a good hang out spot.

Lately this Freddie’s has been going downhill. Since around Dec ‘25 when Norma was moved to another location. Burgers had No flavor - just meat, no seasoning, salt, etc. Not cooked well. Even the tots were pulled from the fryer too soon - not done inside. Custard had about 8 pecans. Not near enough for $6. Please get your head in the game people.
