Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers

Walked in and it was smoky inside. I asked the cashier why it was so smoky. He sarcastically replied, “Because we cook burgers.” I said they should turn on the vents or at least open the doors to air it out. I asked if the vents were working, and the worker said he didn’t even know. The smoke actually looked worse in person than what the picture shows. I started to feel dizzy from the smoke, so my family and I left. Maybe I should’ve reported them to the fire department or the health department. It’s just a matter of time before a worker suffers from smoke inhalation and sues the company.

I went with three friends and we were all sorely disappointed. Two of my friends ordered different kinds of shakes and both received plain vanilla. The vanilla tasted good, but wasn’t what they paid for. I was informed that mustard would be the only condiment on the burger, but I wasn’t expecting it to be all that I could taste. Keep in mind when you see the picture of the fries, those were supposed to be cheese fries. I could hardly find the cheese upon opening and not to mention the cheese that was there tasted like Kraft Mac and cheese. I feel no inclination to go back, but at least the staff was nice!

I’ve given this location like three different times to change thinking that it’s just a fluke or they were just in a hurry or whatever. Today I went through the drive-through for lunch and with it being like the fourth time it’s definitely your employees. Every single time I’ve gone through your window we never get napkins. And today I ordered our food and I didn’t receive the drink for the kids meal, which is totally fine so I just was sitting at the window waiting. Your employee opened up the window and said “what “ 🤣. Like I was the one putting him out. I politely asked if I could get my drink. He then handed it to me through the window a complete mess, overfilled spilling everywhere and guess what… no napkins…. I get it, we’re all busy. Life is crazy, but the dude was seriously so put

Super happy they open a location out by me. Always one of my most favorite burgers around. Would be giving 5 stars, but its a new crew and the kids are still learning their way. Will update in the future. I do wish they would use less seasoning on the tots. Other than that, its always good food!

Overall the service was great but the food was just okay I’d say, like the taste was fine but absolutely not worth the price. We audibly gasped when we pulled out our food lol the kids cheeseburger literally looked like it had been sat on, it was so flat. For mine the bacon is very sad. For the cost I’d expect thick crispy bacon a good amount of lettuce and a nice bun that’s not even close to what we got. I wish I had taken a picture cause it was shocking for how much we paid. For my husband and I each to get meals and then also a happy meal was $50…$50?! You’re joking. That’s wild. Might go back to try the custard but def won’t be trying any other food items. There is far better food for a much better price just up the road.
