Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers

I went through the drive thru at exactly 10:30 AM, where I was met by an employee smoking a cigarette beside the outside menu. She said they weren't open and when I told her it was 10:30 AM (that's when they open,) she told me it would be a minute before I could order. I would have appreciated a more enthusiastic response, but instead she continued to smoke her cigarette. I was a frequent customer, but I have not been back since. If you cannot serve customers at the time of opening, perhaps more staffing should be available or the hours of operation should be adjusted. Additionally, prioritizing smoking a cigarette over taking a customers order is not good for business.

The young man who took our order, his name started with a D. He was fantastic, he asked if we were ok with all the toppings on a particular sandwich, listing all the ingredients and what kind of bread it came on. He asked if we wanted a combo meal and to upgrade to a specialty side (cheese curds, onion rings, yum!) Food was fresh and hot, they had plenty of sauce choices - the Freddy Fry Jalapeño sauce is $$$$$ so good! My patty melt was amazing, i requested only half the cheese as it just gets to be too heavy with 2 slices of cheese, the onions practically melted in my mouth!Kids got custard- turtle sundae and dirt & worms, they were in heaven. The music was very loud, for most of our meal, not sure if a switched genre turned it down a bit or if someone complained and it got turned do

Very good steak burger! Much better than the competitor next door! The cashier was friendly and patient. Our food came out quickly and hit the spot! This was my second visit and it did not disappoint either time. Inside was very clean. I will definitely be back. Love the usb ports at every bench too!

I had to send my grilled chicken sandwich back because it wasn't quite cooked thoroughly. The Store Mgr took care of it immediately. The food after that was pretty good. Dessert afterwords was good, too! I had a Grilled Chicken Sandwich with Cheese Curds and a Sweet Tea. For dessert i had the Pecan Turtle Dessert as a Concrete in a Large Cup which had Vanilla Concrete Custard Ice cream, Delicious Pecan Pieces and Caramel. Yummy 😋 It made my Sunday even Brighter. 💚🍀💚 Sorry, i forgot to take photos because I was too busy talking with others.

Good experience except they never called out any numbers. We just had to watch the counter. Food was good overall. Fries were a little well done.
