Fratelli's Italian Grill

Stopped in to Fratelli's Italian Grill for dinner with my wife. It is a little unassuming on the outside, but that usually is a plus for me, as small restraunts tend to have the better food and service. We were greeted by a very polite gentleman, who it would turn out seemed to be running the front of the house alone. He bussed the table, served as host, server, and checked us out when we left. His service was very good, as he performed all tasks very professionally. We started with the special of spinach artichoke dip, which the specials board showed to be made with Alfredo sauce. That was new to us, but it was a delightful surprise. I liked that it was served with toasted Italian bread slices. The first time I went to this place I was impressed because they have a menu of course but you could add or remove whatever you wanted or say substitute noodles for different noodles and they had really delicious food. I ate the Chicken Capellini and wow it's so full of flavor and they cook it perfectly, also the woman waiting is extremely nice and funny. I highly recommend Fratellis! The lunch specials are very great for the price. Lunch menu entrees include bread and a side salad. The bread is TO DIE FOR (see picture below). My co workers and I went during lunch, and the service was great. We each enjoyed our meals and will definitely be back many times. This is a must try. Definitely go for an appetizer as well!

I ordered a Chicken Parmigiano, the chicken was overcooked and the sauce and noodles were somewhat bland. The service was quick and mindful and the spinach artichoke dip paired with the in house bread was delicious. I sampled the plates of two people I was dining with and was very unimpressed with what the menu had to offer. For the somewhat high prices I would recommend just going elsewhere.

Overall is was okay. The flavors were good but consistent quality was an issue. The sliced Italian sausage had a nice flavor but the temperature was steaming hot one bite and barely warm on the next then back to hot on the next. It did not seem evenly cooked. Also things felt a little over priced to me.
