Frank's Pizza

I've said in other reviews that I was born and raised in NJ, so I am extremely picky when it comes to cheesesteaks, pizzerias, etc. We drove 40 minutes to try this place from a recommendation by a YouTuber. I was blown away. This is hands down one of the BEST calzones I've ever eaten. I felt like I was back in NJ sitting at a little hole in the wall by the beach. We did take it home and it was steaming hot when we left, so I popped it in the air fryer to warm up and it was still pretty warm when we ate it. I also ordered just a standard salad, but the veggies were fresh and the ranch dressing was really tasty. I will drive 40 minutes again for this place.

I always stop by Frank's Pizza every time I am in Montgomery WV Typically excellent food and service Worth the trip Frank's Pizza was very busy. It seemed crowded and tight dining room area. I was self-conscious about baggage. I am sure the under-staffed employees were doing the best they could. I almost left feeling unacknowledged or under-acknowledged. Thankfully, before I was able to exit, I was able to order. The calzone was good and steaming hot. The cake instead on apple pie was delicious. 10/5/24 Day of Fall Fest and ball game

Ordered a calzone and the bread was overwhelming compared to ge cheese, sausage and pepperoni I got on it. I had to ask for some sauce to dip the calzone in because of how dry and amount of the bread and the sauce they gave me was freezing. The taste was great and the people and atmosphere was amazing, just a little dry and little cold otherwise this would have been a 5 star review

I am from Clarksburg, WV, the Italian food capital of WV. WE have a festival for it every September. Today, I found the closest thing to Clarksburg Italian Food I've found after being down here 6+ years. The Al Burger Calzone is Clarksburg Quality Italian Food! How did it take me 6+ years! 5 STAR! A++++++ HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The steak and cheese was one of the best I have ever. I also ordered an extra large deluxe pizza to go. That was delicious as well. The girls waiting my table were extremely nice. They kept my coke refilled... just exceptional service. It's a little out of the way if passing through on Rt 60, but well worth the detour. Just cross the bridge over to Montgomery and hang a right on 5th Ave... proceed to Washington Street at the hospital and turn left. Franks will be up the street on your right. I highly recommend you check them out.
