Frank's Famous Chicken & Waffles

Came on New Year’s Day. Not a lot of options and thankfully Franks was open. Ordered - Temptation platter w chicken wings; yams; Mac and cheese; gravy. Mac and cheese was amazing w a hint of Gouda. Collard greens were great. We even drank the liquid. - Added side of waffles. Super crispy w a nice hint of vanilla. - Side of catfish filet was crispy, flakey and tender. Place is filled with music memorabilia. And of course 90’s and 00’a R&B was playing. Our server Isaiah was amazing. Helped us with all the food. We are coming every time we are in Albuquerque!

Always a fresh, delish experience at Frank's. We got the fried mushrooms, green beans, chicken tenders (always tender), and candied yams. A great vibe with cool tunes playing, and music memorabelia on the walls )Prince, Jimi Hendrix, etc). Fast, friendly service.

Danielle was our waitress and she was very friendly and personable I really enjoyed talking with her, she was very knowledgeable and gave us some history about the restaurant. You can't go wrong with any choice from the menu the food was delicious the chicken was cooked to perfection. We can't wait to go back.

First time going and the food was super good I had the waffles and chicken Mac cheese may I say more!!! On top of it the service was exceptional, I wish I would have gotten her name… super awesome polite and would check on us!! As we were a family of 6 she made sure we got all our food… even was nice enough to get a picture of us… Will be going back when we visit

Had a great combo plate with wings and the special gravy. Sides were excellent. Especially the candied sweet potatoes and Mac and cheese. Greens were good but a little salty to my taste. Wife had chicken and waffles. We both left happy.
