Frank's Deli

I was in Phoenix for a corporate meeting, and one of my coworkers recommended Frank’s Deli for lunch — definitely a solid call. We ordered a bunch of different sandwiches for the group, and everyone was really happy with their choices. I went with The Tony (their Italian sub) and added bacon. The bread was fresh and had that perfect balance of soft and chewy — exactly what you want in a good sub. They definitely don’t skimp on the meat either, which is always a big plus in my book. My only minor knock was the bacon — it tasted like the pre-cooked, microwave-ready kind. Not a dealbreaker, but it stood out compared to the rest of the sandwich, which was otherwise great. I'm mad I didn't know about this place sooner! Been here over 25 years from Chicago and have not found a sandwich spot as good as this! Someone recommended the Tony, add bacon and I'm so glad I did. That bread was absolutely delicious and all the ingredients are fresh. The crispiness from the bacon sent it over the top. Definitely coming back!

Frank’s New York Style Deli is the real deal. We stopped in after flying into Phoenix on our way to Prescott Valley, and it was exactly what we needed. This place has been open 43 years, and you can tell—nothing trendy, just good food done right. It’s family-run, with mom and her sons running the show, and they were genuinely warm and welcoming. You feel like a regular even if it’s your first visit. The food? Outstanding. Classic New York-style deli fare, generous portions, and everything tasted fresh and made with care. If you want a place that’s stood the test of time and still delivers, Frank’s is it. Highly recommend, and we’ll absolutely be back next time we’re in town.

Always great! The service is super friendly and fast, sandwiches are fantastic- i recommend the italian sausage- desserts are super tasty and freshly homemade by the lady that does the sandwiches- i recommend the carrot cake. Its the best I've ever had. Atmosphere is great- you can get your food to eat in or to go. There's a nice selections of hommade sides in the deli case, as well as drinks and snacks. I love coming here. Is just a short walk from our house. The prices are good too. Well worth it and highly recommended!

Why on earth was this advertised to be a NY style deli? It’s nothing like that, the food doesn’t reflect that and nothing is reminiscent of NYC. The staff are nice and friendly however, the bread is soft and doughy and tasteless. The bread was a huge disappointment and really should be replaced. The sandwich wasn’t made well and was uneven, especially with the Mayo distribution. The potato salad was not even good. It tasted weird. Do not recommend nor would I return.
