Frankie's Subs

Person who took our order was friendly and our food was ready fast. Ordered a pizza, cheese steak, and a regular sub. Pizza was average. It was a little heavy on the crust, but pretty much what you would expect from a sub shop. Cheese steak had plenty of meat and it was good quality. The regular had a little too much oil on it for my liking and for the price I thought it was a little light on meat. Overall not bad, but a little overpriced.

Only been there a few times, bc we don't live by there. have always had good hoagies. The staff is super friendly, the hoagie had good taste, however the buns were old and stale.

I've patronized this place as long as they've been in existence, but the recent change from traditional hoagie buns to soft buns is disappointing. My takeout cheesesteak would have been delicious but for the limp, wet bun. Subs just aren't the same on soft rolls.

We were there Saturday around 3:00. The gal brought our tea but no straws. We were really shocked when we got the bill. A half of a turkey and cheese Cosmo went from over $6 to $9.50. We had onion rings and a chef salad that we had paid $23 for in the past. The running special is $10.00 for a whole sub or cosmo. I called and asked the price today and it was $8.50 for a half of a Cosmo. I understand costs go up, but who can afford to eat out anymore???? We told them to enjoy the rest of their day. No one said anything. I guess we're going to have to cut out the tip.

Nice little local breakfast and lunch place. There BOB (breakfast on a bun) is awesome. Or get it without the bread.
