We ordered three items by phone: (1) Bianca’s pizza, (2) a Brooklyn-style pizza, and (3) the 71st Street salad. I asked whether it was better to pay with cash or card, and the woman on the phone advised paying cash and told me the total would be $48. My husband picked up the order about 20 minutes later. When we got home, we started with the salad and immediately noticed what appeared to be a gray hair in it. We called Frankie’s right away and were told we could either receive a refund or get a free item on a future order. We chose the refund and said we’d come back in about 30 minutes. Since my husband was hungry, we skipped the salad and started eating the Bianca’s pizza. While eating his third slice, my husband had to spit out his bite because there was a piece of plastic in the pizza

Andrea is always our waitress, and she is fantastic!! My husband and I come here whenever we can so that we can be treated like family. The pizza is exceptional, the hospitality is warm. If you want a real New York experience, you come here. Period. Cozy, delicious, authentic. And so many options! I came here tonight with my vegetarian friend, and there were so many options for her! And scrumptious too. Vegan sausage and pepperoni. Just all around amazing. We love you guys :)

The restaurant is located in the Bay Ridge section of Brooklyn. They prepare Italian cuisine and have a limited menu. Servers are available for customers when dining in. Customers can choose from pizza, salads, appetizers, calzones and beverages. I ordered a margherita pizza, salad and meatballs. The food was very good and well-prepared. Friendly and helpful staff.

From the moment you walk in, it has that classic neighborhood vibe, the smell of great pizza, and the well worn rhythm of people who know how to toss the dough in the air. The pizza is excellent, but my personal favorite is the family sized calzone. It’s massive, perfectly baked, and packed with flavor. It’s the kind of calzone that comes out of the oven and immediately makes the whole table stop talking. Perfect for sharing, or not. This is the kind of place that feels timeless, the type of pizzeria you grow up going to and keep coming back to because nothing can compare.
