Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana

We ordered a small half Original Tomato Pie/half Original Tomato with Mozzarella, a small half Doppio Pepperoni/half Pepperoni & Hot Cherry Tomatoes, and a liter of Foxon Park Soda Root Beer. Everything we ordered was worthy of our of taste buds. It's tough to rank, but the original tomato pie was ultimately my favorite. But the pepperoni with hot cherry tomatoes was addictive and the root beer with it was the perfect combo. That Foxon root beer is something else. Coming from the West Coast, my immediate reaction of walking into Frank Pepe's and seeing the pizzaiolos with their massive pizza peels was, "Whoa!" And the coal fired oven in action is unreal. The staff was fantastic, our server was awesome, the pizzas were perfect, the Foxon Park soda is a must, the Pepes salad was fresh, the cannoli pie was delicious, and the atmosphere was great! Another 10 out of 10 for the legendary Frank Pepes! We've been to all 17 locations and they're all consistent across the board. The Manchester team is one of the best! We have been customers for life. Everything was spot on!

I was in Connecticut for a short business trip and, of course, had to experience true New Haven-style pizza. Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana did not disappoint! It absolutely lived up to everything I’ve heard about authentic Connecticut pizza. The sauce was rich and full of flavor, and the crust had that perfect coal-oven char that makes every bite incredible. The balance of texture and taste was spot on — crispy and perfectly baked. There are plenty of pizza places to choose from in Connecticut, but this one is a true home run. I’ll definitely be back for another pizza the next time I’m in the area!

Even if it isn't a New Haven location, I think this is formidable. The food is great and the service is superb. We will definitely go back.

We did half clam, half shrimp and it came out fast, fresh, and absolutely delicious! The service here is really great. This was our first time here and she was so helpful and gave us great recommendations. I am not an expert on this style pizza but I thought it was great!
