Franco's Pizza

We recently ordered from your shop and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. We ordered two pies: one plain cheese and one red sauce pie with garlic. What we received was two cheese pizzas, with one topped with just a few pieces of raw garlic. We were a bit confused, as this was not what we were expecting. When we called to clarify, we learned that the pizza we had in mind is actually called a “Sicilian Marinara.” That would’ve been fine to learn, mistakes happen.. but the dismissive attitude from the owner we received over the phone made the situation worse. A simple, “oh there was a miscommunication here, the red sauce pie with the garlic is actually called …” would have been all that was needed. Very good pizza selection, toppings are great, but pizza dough is generic and sandy in the crust; still recommend it though.

This place is exactly what I want for New York style pizza. They have slices ready to go which are fresh, hot, and delicious. There’s almost always someone in the kitchen tossing dough and loading up the oven. They are consistent in their quality and always friendly and efficient. Other New York area pizza shops aren’t always going to be friendly, but that’s never a problem any time I’ve visited Franco’s. The restaurant itself is tucked away in the back of a shopping plaza and not easily visible from the road. It’s a literal hidden gem for anyone that doesn’t already know about it. The pizza itself has all of the elements you want in a pizza. Dough that is flavorful and thin, but still folds nicely. Pulled off the parkway and by total chance found Franco’s. We were so lucky. The sauce he makes is incredible and if be sold it, I would take it with me. We got three different kinds of slices-margarita, pepperoni, and spinach/ricotta. All were so good. My kid even ate the crust and never eats the crusts. Only a few minutes from The Marketplace outlet area. Worth finding.

Good food, good people, decently priced. What more can you ask for?!? Jose's customer service is top-notch. We are definitely gonna be repeat customers Update: You have to try the New Vodka Roni Slice. It's so good. Make sure you have them drizzle some Hot Honey on it.
