Franco's Famous

I came with my daughter and her son. We were seated promptly, there were not many people here. The restraunt is clean, contemporary looking. There is no South West or Mexican atmosphere. The TV's were programmed on football and it was loud like a sports bar. It was hard to relax and I left with a headache. The food was boring. The chimichaga was pasty, no flavor whatsoever. I didn't find any reason to come back. BTW - What a shame to loose Mama's for this!! Disappointed

Sofia was awesome. So glad they opened here. Saves us the drive to Laguna Hills and Dana Point Just had the quesadilla trio. Enjoying football on multiple screens. Chill Vibe

I actually asked for what their so famous for. The crisp of the taco is so good, the generous portions that fill the crispy taco makes it a great deal. The salsa is fresh and addicting. The Chile verde authentico is amazing. The only thing was that the service was slow but I think they are just figuring it out.

Our first time ordering take out, maybe it's because it was on a Saturday night BUT: On the shrimp fajitas dish, the bellpeppers & onions were in this brown water & it had a weird, bitter aftertaste, I've had fajitas before & I've never tasted anything like this. Their tortilla chips tasted like they were fried a few times, which surprises me because they were packed with customers. Now the carne asada burrito would've been really good without all that very spicy salsa in it.

Recently, we celebrated my friend’s birthday at Franco’s Famous, and it was absolutely wonderful! We were truly enchanted by the ambiance: warm, cozy, and inviting. The food was top-notch, but what stood out the most was the service, which exceeded all our expectations. We wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to everyone!
