Franconia Inn Dining

A lovely inn where I had a perfect stay. The rooms are charmingly decorated and very quiet. No TV in the rooms - Yay! There are comfortable rooms downstairs with fireplaces for reading or playing card games. The continental breakfast is fine but the dinners are wonderful - elegant and delicious.

A gem found within the Franconia Inn. We made reservations for dinner on open-mic night (Thursdays), and the atmosphere was cozy, with a fire going, service was fast, food was great. There were lots of gluten free options and accommodations listed on the menu, which I really appreciated. The crowd seemed to be a mix of inn guests and locals.

Marvelous restaurant. Delicious food, impeccable service, delighful surroundings. The duck was outstanding. The short ribs delicious. There is a real chef in control. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I spent New Year’s Eve at the pub downstairs at Franconia Inn, not only was the ambience outstanding but the food was also delicious! I also had breakfast at the dining room upstairs which was just as amazing. The service at both restaurants was top notch and everyone was very attentive. I can not wait to go back and not only stay, but to eat too!

Meal was disappointing, compared to the meal I had there on my last visit a few years earlier. Cous cous with the recommended chicken dish was uncooked and hard, the other vegetable was old and cold. Not recommended.
