Francesca's Pizza Pasta-Grill

I have been here a few times for an assortment of pizza slices and think that they are overpriced for what they are serving in terms of taste, quality and size; I only come here for convenience. Ordering 2 units of each variety at various occasions, I can only speak for the cheese ($9)/margarita ($10.61) /veggie ($10) slices and found these varieties to be not my money’s worth. Some of the pizzerias around the neighborhood/next town serves pizza that is fitting for the price. The chefs and workers at the front end are good folks. The front end can do a better job at keeping the tables clean, which they do, but it can take time due to a busy kitchen and extra responsibilities.

Our favorite pizza whenever we come back to NJ. We usually love their wide selection of slices, but since it was late and options were limited, we got a whole pie instead — and it was excellent. Always worth the stop.

Stopped in for a meal. Place was packed! Had some honey hot wings which where delicious as always. Pepperoni stromboli was cheesey and yummy. Fresh salad, chicken soup, garlic bread all great. Meat lasagna was good and nice size portions, with delicious meat sauce. Only bomb was the slice of pizza. Usually good pizza but this time not much cheese and kinda meh. Staff was still friendly and helpful even with the crazy busy going on.

I’ve known Gus and Frank for years, and having Francesca’s Pizza Pasta-Grill right next door to my karate school has been a real blessing. From their classic pies and hearty pasta to the way they treat every customer like family, this place is all about good food and good people. Stop in any night and you’ll feel it — the passion, the laughter, the familiar faces. It’s the kind of local business that doesn’t just serve meals… it builds community. First time customer since my go to pizza place doesn’t have calzones. Ordered a cheese calzone and pasta fagolio for pick up. I guess I got there a little early for pick up. Waited about ten minutes. No big deal. The calzone was ok but very small. The sauce was very watery and bitter I wound up not using it. Soup was pretty tasteless and the container was only 3!4 filled. . The disappointing part when I got home everything was cold. I live five minutes away. So it should have still at least been warm.
