A great vibe, friendly baristas and light/welcoming space. Always makes me happy to see locally roasted coffee beans and specialty coffee drinks on a menu. They have high quality teas and fun barista recommendations on their menu. Only downside is that they use Monin syrups - I wish they had higher quality or house-made.

We first tried Foxtail for a dessert after a date night. The espresso milkshake was divine, so I kept coming back--I love a good coffee splurge occasionally. My last visit was a nightmare. I use a French press at home but didn't have time to make it, so decided to use the app to order a French press on my way in to Fernindina last Friday. It was ready when I arrived so the convenience was there. Unfortunately it was awful. Whoever made it did not press out the grounds and the bottom third of the 12oz cup was full of grit. Leaving ground in the coffee also throws off the taste as they continue to steep as time passes. I drank what I could because I NEED coffee in the mornings. The "baristas" are not friendly AT ALL. The customer experience is more than just being handed a cup of coffee. A smile would be nice. Two of the three employees were having a private conversation while no one engaged the customers. The cashier was efficient yet unfriendly. Hello and have a nice day should be standard. It may be a nice place to sit and relax but the customer service is sorely lacking.

They have really good coffee and tea. The staff here is very sweet and helpful. They are the best location that I have been to!
